Strolling In And Around My Head

While in Charleston I highly recommend you tour the USS Yorktown. The Yorktown was the tenth aircraft carrier to serve the US. She started service on April 15, 1943 and was deep in WWII then switched to jet aircraft and then once again changed to become a anti-submarine aircraft carrier. She served during the Vietnam war from 1965 to 1968 and then picked up the Apollo 8 astronauts and capsule. The Yorktown was decommissioned in 1970. She now serves again as a tour stop for people who would like to see what it was like on a 27,000 ton ship. We watched a regatta from multiple colleges from the deck of the Yorktown. This ship was so big and the sailboats were so small. From the ship you can see the beautiful bridge in the distance.

This week we are vacationing at Kiawah Island on the shore of South Carloina. We have rented three houses and have multiple families staying. The Pendley's The Whitworth's The Nutt's (Two Nutt families) The Bogardus' Welcome to Kiawah Island. Home of really nice people and a few alligators. The before and after shot at The Sanctuary. What a great place to relax and get away from it all. We split a beer because I am not much of a beer drinker. I had one sip and Tam had one beer less a sip. I was robbed. Robert fell asleep in two minutes after his head hit the couch. We was texting and then was out like a light. Drove over to Rita's and had some great food. I recommend the blue cheese burger and Robert said the fried shrimp was awesome. Rita's is a block off the beach and was a 45 minute ride from Kiawah. From the beach. The houses and places to stay on Kiawah were really great to visit. We road bikes all over the island. One happy man

Crazy bunco team before going to the Bunco Nationals. Go girls we are all pulling for you.  Jenny is leaving the Bunco Team and heading North. She will be missed by everyone. Jenny will surely be missed. Lots of love coming to you from all sides... Left Right Center Not just the left, right, and center.

Some of the gang before the sun goes down. Some of the family that are scattered around the South East. Not all are in the photo, because it is like herding cats to get everyone together. We are on the beach in St. Augustine Florida in the summer of 2016. Normally we gather each year and head to Anastasia Condominiums on the cost of North East Florida. When staying in St. Augustine you need to go early in the summer before is gets to hot. There is plenty to do and see on and off the beach. Here we are on a sailboat getting ready to leave the dock. We cut under the Bridge of Lions on the half hour when the draw bridge is up then head out to the Atlantic Ocean. Plenty of wind and plenty of water make the day out to sea a get time by all.

TESLA MODEL 3 Purchase Process Well it is a great morning at the Kennesaw Tesla showroom. It is 7:00 AM on Thursday March 31, 2016 and I am 23rd in line. I am here to reserve two Tesla Model 3 cars. When I pulled up at the showroom I was lucky enough to sit directly behind my old boss at MuRata Electronics. True Tran was also in line to reserve a Model 3 so we had three hours to catch up. True is a very smart man and you have to be on your toes to have a conversation with him. I respect True and value his judgement. If he is buying a Model 3 then that is a smart move. Well it is 10:20 and I have just put down $3,000 for three Tesla Model 3's. I know I can only reserve two but as I was putting in my credit card the machine screwed up and I was able to reserve three. I just received my Tesla photos in the mail and was so happy to have it come in. I checked the MyTeslamotors.com website and they have three model three's in my name. Update - I now have two model 3 reservation

We took off during the winter and spent a week in Park City Utah with our friends the Fine's. Here are a few of my favorite photos that include the incredible views while on the mountains in Utah. My favorite things to do in Park City was snowmobiling, tubing, and of course skiing. David Fine and his family traveled to Park City before and really helped us out by renting a VRBO house for the week and helped us get set on skis and lift tickets. Check out the great views. I love the signs. Waterfall (which I did not want to go down because of the name) then you had Homerun. I always checked for the easiest way down. Park City Make sure you pack sun screen. You met a bunch of fin caricatures in Utah. She is waving to all who pass by. A Florida boy having fun in the snow. First time I was ever in snow this deep. WOW Like riding a HD except no one is trying to run you over. Had a blast on the snowmobile.

Girl on a mission!

Well here is a fun picture of the Mayes girls. Tamara on the left with Beth on the right. Lee is in the middle and having a great time like always. It is so fun to see Lee and the girls together. This photo shows all three just like they want to always be, comfortable and having fun. This is so typical. David pops up with someones bathing suit. You have to watch this boy. I think later in his years we will see him holding up little bikini tops and bottoms. The kids enjoying the great outdoors. I need to mention that the Ferrous Wheel  in St. Augustine is the FIRST Ferrous Wheel that Little David ever road.

Yes this is Allison running the bases at Turner Field. You can tell from her tongue sticking out that she is flying. Just look at her feet are both off the ground. She had a couple fans sitting in the back watching her run. I don't know how much they paid to watch be we never saw any money from the run. Go Allison!!! Allison let me ride on the back of her lawn mower. We gave the mower to the Lowery's for a house warming gift. I was trying to think of a way to keep the mower so I could ride it around the hood. We are on the driveway of 4199 Long Branch Drive.

How fun is this. The first plane ride. They are coming back from Disney World and are about to take off.
