Going-to-the-Sun Road, Montana

Tam and I rented two electric bikes and hired a guide, then set out to Going To The Sun Road. We started on the West side of Glacier National Park from Avalanche parking lot. The trip started with a small incline, and we stopped along the way for photo opts.  After a few miles, the road became steeper and the views more amazing. This is Haystack Butte.  Our guides stopped and did snow Angles. We really started going up and found out why the road is closed to cars until around late June. They remove the guardrails in the fall so the ice and snow does not damage the guardrails. They spend May and June putting the guardrails back and cleaning the road. Once at the top we ran into big horn sheep and a many deer.

Montana

We traveled to Great Falls, Montana for the wedding of Linda and Daniel Nutt. The wedding was fantastic and everything went off with a hitch. ☺️ We enjoyed meeting Linda's large extended family and were so happy to meet such wonderful people. We jumped around Great Falls and took in the sights with Rob and Reb. R & R drove all the way from Seattle Washington to see the wedding. One of the five falls that Lewis and Clark had to go around during their expedition. They pulled their long canoes around the falls. They thought it would take half a day, but it took 18 days to move all the canoes and provisions around the falls. It has been a hazy overcast for the last few days as the wildfires in Canada has been blowing the smoke down into Montana. We took off to see some sights and ended up at The Lewis and Clark Museum.  The Lewis and Clark Museum was fun, but my wife is a lot more fun. We rented a Jeep Wrangler so that we don't get stuck

Seattle Washington

Rob and Rebecca are the best tour guides I know.  Yes we made it to Pikes Place fish market. And yes, they do throw fish.  Large flower market with very fresh flowers.  Beautiful Seattle skyline.  Where old trains go to live out the rest of their lives.  Old Rusty. Beautiful walks around mirror lake.  Hiking with the group.  The camera adds so much weight to my midsection.  Hydro electric dam with added waterfall.

Sagrada Familia, Barcelona Spain

The Beautiful Sagrada Familia. Started back in 1882 and is still under construction.  Makes you scratch your head. All built by donations. The money from the tours pays for building the church. Front of the church with Baby Jesus with the wisemen on the left and Shepard's on the right with a shepherds dog. The star is in the middle.  Stained glass that gives the church an amazing color that is always changing depending on where the sun is in relation to the church. These are made to look like trees and they are all bending out like the wind is pushing them. The jagged tops are leaves that are hanging down.  Stairs to the upper seating.  The stairway to heaven.  Christ on the cross.  they are hoping the church will be finished in 2026, but that is an estimate. I do not see how.

Cannes, France

Ariving on a small tender into Cannes. The film festival is going on so we hope to sneek into some red carpet areas. I have my nicest T-shirt on.  Having drinks in Cannes. Place is crowded as Top Gun and Elvis movies and all the stars are here.  The Disney Ship we are on. We tendered from the boat to Cannes. Helicopters were transporting people all day. Cannes is electric with energy.
