We were looking for a getaway and one that was close to Atlanta. We selected Cloudland Canyon State Park. Surprisingly at the end of October, the park was hardly being used. We rented two cabins that had two bedrooms and one bath. During the day we hiked and at night we built a fire and sat around and talked.
You need to visit the North Georgia Hang Glide launch pad when you are in the area.
Are you looking for the quiet sounds of waterfalls in the distance. This is the park to visit while in Georgia.
Hiking trails are located all over the park. Just grab a map or walk along the trails.
