Cologne Germany

Cologne Germany is over 2,000 years old and was once a Roman city. Known for it's Gothic architecture and twine tower cathedral (third largest in the world) Cologne is in competition with Düesseldorf when it comes to beer. The average German drinks 35 gallons of beer a year.

This little guy is at the top of a house that faces the parliament building.

This Is a photo of a bombed building. So sad that so many died during the war.

That is my girl waiting to go on tour.

A nice fountain and flowers.

Cologne Cathedral Church started in 1248. It is still being updated
Glass was removed during WWII and saved to be placed back in the church.
Bridge of locks. One of the first bridges built near Cologne. Trains cross the bridge every 1.5 minutes.
Lovers place a lock on the bridge signifying there love. They throw the key in the water and live happily ever after.
It is good to own a lock shop.

People walk, drive and ride trains over this bridge.

I've never been there. It's sad that Ukraine is witnessing that kind of devastation in their cities today. Unbelievable.
