Strolling In And Around My Head

This was the warmup lap with the Chevy Corvette Pace Car.   One of the restarts during the race. It was crazy to see how many cars would pass on turn three.  The rain came in before the race. It was raining sideways for 30 minutes.  This is a picture of the Snake Pit. We did see people walking around with gallon milk jugs  ith god knows what mixed up. We learned this is called a BORG. BORG is short for "blackout rage gallon", This was the canal that is in downtown Indy. Very pretty and peaceful.  Driving back from the Indy 500 and I see this billboard shortly after entering Georgia.  So glad to welcome people into the state of Georgia with this non-judgmental billboard. So proud 😏

Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park Purchased  by George MacKay in 1889, the 6,000 acres of forest had a beautiful Capilano river flowing right through the middle of the property. George and his team pulled ropes across the river and erected a suspension bridge. Tam is standing on the Cliffwalk which is 30 stories above the river.  I am on the Cliffwalk and removed the people in the photo with Google Photos Edit application.    Raptors are brought in to show and educate the visitors. A lady sat with this bird on her glove speaking with anyone that would listen. We are heading out on a one week Disney Cruise. Thu - Flying into San Juan, Puerto Rico Fri - Leaving from San Juan, Puerto Rico Sat - Basseterre, St Kitts Sun - St. John's, Antigua  Mon - At Sea Tues - Oranjestad, Aruba Wed - Willemstad, Curacao Thu - At Sea Fri - Arriving back to San Juan, Puerto Rico Fri - Flying into ATL, Georgia Flying into San Juan, Puerto Rico. We board the ship tomorrow. We should have half a day to walk the streets of the old neighborhood in San Juan.  We are in line to board the ship. All going smoothly except when a cup of power opened up in my suitcase. A nice lady that worked at the hotel washed and folded all my clothes. She would not take any money so we left it in the room.  We are in St. Kitts. This morning we took a small tour bus called Veronica's Tours around the island. Cost was $30 and she provided Carbin Beer and Rum Punch. Beautiful island with an inactive volcano that hasn't gone off...

Tamara's Birthday Trip We set sail from Cape Canaveral on a beautiful fall Sunday.  This is currently the largest cruise ship on the seven seas. I am on deck 15 and I think there are two more decks above. The ship was completed in 2022 and is 1,187 feet long. Day 1, Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida Departs at 4:30 PM Day 2, Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Bahamas From 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Day 3, Cruising Day at sea Day 4, Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico From 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Day 5, Cozumel, Mexico From 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Day 6m Cruising Day at sea Day 7, Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida Arrives at 6:00 AM Flow Rider - most are boogie boarding. I have not seen anyone standing up on the board yet. We are on the front of the ship looking forward. This is a great place to people watch, but then again, it is not a great place to people watch. 😁 A robot made a Blue Sky Margarita for me. It was very tasty.
